  • in-situ quality control of nanocrystal (NC) synthesis
  • investigation of post-synthetic NC treatment influence on hybrid solar cell performance
  • integration of graphene into nanocrystal/polymer solar cell
  • investigation of long-term solar cell stability and its degradation
  • development of interdigitated nanostructured hybrid solar cells

  • colloidal nanocrystal synthesis and characterization by UV-Vis and photoluminescence spectroscopy
  • NC surface treatment and characterization by FTIR and DLS
  • formulation of NC dispersions in polymer solutions
  • thermal evaporation & sputtering (operation and maintenance)
  • thin-film bulk-heterojunction & dye-sensitized solar cell manufacturing and characterization
  • electrochemical creation of nanoporous alumina and TiO2 nanotube thin-films on metal/ITO coated glass
  • nanostructure and nano surface topology characterization by AFM, SEM, and profilometer
